Twisted Life; Structural
The structural part of this project was only for the tower. I also made a calculation for equilibrium to determine the mass of both buildings and the moments in their centers of gravitation. Eventually with simplified calculations, the forces in the pipes could be determined. The forces seemed to be really feasible for the design of the geometry of the buildings.
The bar structure of the tower was designed for the most efficient way. The building bears its loads easily without any large spans and it's a known way of constructing. Other parts of this design were the choice of materials, details and connections, types of floors and foundation calculations for its three floor parking space under the building. The design was checked by the codes (NEN) and the design is ready to be built.
